As Congregationalists, we believe each Church is made of its members, who share all rights and responsibilities that come from gathering together in the name and spirit of Jesus Christ.
This means we do not receive any central funding, but rather rely on the income we can generate for ourselves, and on the donation of members and friends, as well as the occasional charity grants or prizes.
During these uncertain times, we need as much help from our friends and our community as we can, since we have lost months of Hall Hire income as we closed to ensure the safety of all the people we care about.
There are different ways you can donate to us while the Chapel is still closed, and we are grateful for any support.
Online Donations
We can receive one off and regular card and PayPal donations through our CAF account, but a small fee is taken from your donation.
Cheque
We are happy to receive your donation as a cheque, payable to “Wivenhoe Congregational Church”.
