Dear Lord,
Help!
Help the seeds about Jesus that have been planted recently to flourish.
Help the dawning of revival to begin.
Help our church to be prepared with a full complement of those who can guide, advise, teach, preach, nurture, lead praise and worship – and prayer! Help all our vacancies be filled.
As a fellowship, help our tongues:-
to be full of love and grace, not pulling down but building up;
not gossiping to others, but mindful and controlled;
not seeking support for disagreement but directed to compromise;
Help when tempted to lash out, to be silent and giving all to you.
Help our hearts praise you more with every breath.
Help us trust you in the little as well as the big things.
Help us co-operate with each other in full faith of your promises and provision.
Help our hearts be flooded with the magnitude of your power.
Help us love our neighbour as ourselves.
Help us want to read our bibles more – the more we turn to you, the more we are healed of whatever hinders our joy.
Help mend all the broken families in the world, families parted by war, families separated by unforgiveness, families scattered by poverty and persecution, and families unhinged simply out of seeking a better life. Whatever the reason, help them to seek restoration and reconciliation, Help them make peace before it is too late. Assist others to help trace lost family members – thank you for those who work tirelessly bringing people back together again.
